Darkness caves in on me slowly
My feet are stuck on the ground.
The ground shakes, moving in circles
Around me, pulling me down,
Swallowing me into its deepest core.
I have nothing to hold on to
I scream but it came out like a muffled cry
And I choke on my fears until I slowly sunk,
Plummeting to the ground.
Someone’s watching me from afar
With a smirk on his face,
The man from my nightmare
Who comforted me in my dreams,
He stalked me in my nightmares
And kissed me in my dreams.
As I was being pulled down into the greedy ground,
Like a mad man, like a clown,
Like a gangster… He was laughing.
Then my breath stops, it’s a little too quiet now.
My heart stops, I just died tonight.
