I’ll close my eyes to ne’er see the horrendous tragedy,
Shut my ears against the screams of recurring agony.
So, I must take a break from pain or sorrow
And sleep like there’s no tomorrow.
But if tomorrow I won’t see the sun again
Certain that I will be saved from going insane.
Yet, it will be a joy for me to rest peacefully
From this endless tormenting malady.
