Flores De Mayo

We were going home one afternoon when we came across a long procession.  And I remember my officemate said she was going to attend the Santacruzan mass etc. Vehicles were parked on both sides of the streets and spectators crowding. So, I had to walk down the road to go to my officemate’s house to hand him something because our car couldn’t pass through. Suddenly I had this urge to take a pic. Hence, I made a quick snap but I don’t think it’s decent. Don’t blame me. I’m not a pro, lol.

Moreover, Flores De Mayo Festival or Flowers of May Festival is held annually in the Philippines that became one of the national symbols in the country.  It was introduced by Spanish friars and is being observed and celebrated in May.

The Santacruzan is the highlight of this festival that commemorates the finding of the True Cross of Christ by St. Helena, the mother of Constantine the Great. (https://www.top-destination-choice-the-philippines.com/flores-de-mayo.html)
