Sometimes it’s difficult to pull yourself from the dark pit and you think the only solution is death. Life is beautiful, if only we’re not too stubborn to look at the brighter side. We only exhaust ourselves from overthinking which leads to frustration and worse, depression. Some people out there are going through phases worse than what we’re going through but they still manage to smile and find hope even amid the storm. Others don’t have food on the table. Some lost their homes, etc. But this doesn’t invalidate their courage to survive.

Sadly, another young soul fell victim to the grim reaper just recently. (I hope no one else succumbs to this curse.)

Let’s make it a habit to check on our family, friends, and acquaintances. They might be waiting for our call or text. Make them feel they matter. Let them know they are heard.
